Our farmhouse is centrally located in the province of Friesland. The A7 is within a 5-minute drive. This allows you to stay centrally located in the cities of Drachten, Heerenveen, Groningen and Dokkum. We are also close to nature reserves De Leijen and Alde Feanen. On the edge of the Frisian village of Opeinde you will find our monumental farmhouse from 1866. In our rebuilt Lyts Hus are three studios. Each studio has its own kitchen, dining area, sitting area, and of course a bathroom with toilet. The studios are fully furnished and everything is there. The studio is suitable for 2 persons.

For many years we live with great pleasure in the Frisian village of Opeinde and for years we have said to each other if we could buy this house ...... and after years of trying it finally worked out. For years we have been renovating to protect the building from demolition, but we have succeeded and we live here with so much pleasure that we want others to do the same. When we rebuilt our Lyts Hus, there turned out to be so much room left that the idea of ​​a B&B was born and we have been loose since January 2020. To get to the Lyts Hus you have to go in our driveway along a row of oak trees and what could be better than sitting on the terrace? The birds are chirping, the mice are beeping, the hares are jumping by, our Carolina ducks have occupied the owl box and the deer are regularly hopping by. If you want to go out, we are centrally located to Leeuwarden, Dokkum, Groningen and Heerenveen.
