Boerenhuisje is a traditional farmers house in the area I was born. It is a rural area, very quiet, and the sea is about 2 kilometres away. Perfect pace for families with kids that love to bike/walk in nature. Bikes are provided free of cost.

- This ‘Putjesstrand (wells beach)’ is very quiet and very large. On the side of the dyke you have some dunes where you can dredge through the mud. On the seafront you have wells where water stays at lowtides. If it is then nice and warm weather is everyone has their own private pool. The best is at the low-water, see here for tides: - Walsoorden has a beautiful old harbour. Quite pretty to look at. There is a dealer in classic sailing ships. established in a beautiful barn from the year 1777. - The village of de Paal has also a beautiful harbour and what dunes through which you can muddle. Also a very nice beach pavilion. - The best is probably the Verdronken Land in Saeftinghe. There is a visitors ' Centre. You can also ask for a guided tour, but for that you should make reservation. Without a guide, you can make a small trip by yourself, for a half hour or so. There is a nice authentic Cafe, Het Verdronken Land. - Windmills nearby. in Kuitaart.
