A large panoramic window in the spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area offers a wonderful view of the garden and the surrounding landscape. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet and a separate toilet. There is a main bathroom with a shower, as well as a separate guest WC. Enjoy the large wrap-around terrace and your own private garden. Parking is available just a few meters away. ***A local tourist tax and parking fee are payable upon arrival. Please note that additional services—such as bed linen, towels, pet accommodation, or other specific amenities—can be booked separately for an extra fee.*** This chalet is also used privately by our family and therefore includes a few extra amenities beyond the standard offerings. It is situated in a quiet area within the Siblu Lauwersoog family holiday park. The park features several playgrounds (including an indoor facility), two marinas, a restaurant, a supermarket, bicycle and SUP rentals, sports grounds, and—during peak season—an organized entertainment program. Holiday Park The chalet is located within the Siblu Lauwersoog family holiday park. After checking in, you can drive your car directly up to the house. By paying the required fee to the park operator, you gain access to all of the park's amenities and activities, including children's entertainment, special events, bicycle rentals, restaurants, playgrounds, an indoor play area, an arcade, a beach, a petting zoo, and much more. The chalet—featuring a spacious terrace and garden—is reserved for the exclusive use of our guests. Charging stations for electric vehicles are available on the park grounds and at the harbor. Charging via the chalet's standard electrical outlet is not permitted, as the home's wiring is not designed to handle the load. The surrounding area is home to charming villages and offers numerous destinations for excursions. A sailing school is located just 400 meters away, and a golf course is within a 10-kilometer drive. Kitesurfing, sailing, and windsurfing opportunities are available right on-site. It is just a 500-meter walk to the fishing harbor—home to several restaurants—as well as to the Wadden Sea Centre (which includes a seal sanctuary) and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Wadden Sea itself. This is also the departure point for many excursion boats, guided mudflat walks, and the ferry to Schiermonnikoog, an island renowned for its endless beaches. You will be staying right in the heart of the Lauwersoog Nature Reserve—a designated "Dark Sky Park" offering spectacular views of the starry night sky. It is also a protected bird sanctuary, providing excellent opportunities to observe rare bird species. Alternatively, you can simply bring along a good book and enjoy a relaxing holiday in our cozy chalet.
