Since June 2025, we have been renting out part of our beautiful farmhouse to holidaymakers, business travellers, and anyone wishing to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Schalkwijk. Whether you are looking for peace and quiet or a bit of activity, you will find both here. You are, after all, close to both the city and nature. There is much to discover in the area, but for beautiful views, you can simply look out of the window! It sometimes feels like a painting. Nearby, you will find several farms, orchards, and farm shops where you can buy fresh fruit, cider and juices, dairy products, eggs, and honey. The house is suitable for three guests. Please note: it is not suitable for people with limited mobility due to a steep staircase leading to the bedrooms. Dogs are also welcome (max. 2). Please let us know when you’re traveling with a dog.
Welcome to De Geerhoeve! We are Jan and Lauren, and since 2024 we have been living on the farm where we raise young cattle, keep horses, and a few chickens! We also work the grasslands, which are used to feed our animals. You are welcome to take a walk around the farmyard with us, but please let us know in advance.
