Company info

After years of working as a project manager, I now follow my green heart and run a B&B farm and permaculture centre. Working in my garden and food forest is my absolute favorite thing to do. Feel free to ask for a tour! I also spend hours in the kitchen cooking up big healthy meals and love to make everyone feel warm and welcome. I'm a fan of the WWOOF concept, so there's a big chance you'll meet some international volunteers helping me run the place, including the hostess part. It's a win-win: they learn about permaculture and I have help growing my dream into its full potential.

Property info

We are an eco hostel, which is quite an unique concept in The Netherlands. We have a permaculture garden and edible forest, which means the food we serve you is always fresh, organic and hand picked. You'll also find composting toilets, an outdoor shower, an outdoor kitchen, an adobe pizza oven and of course our animals. Guests from all over the world come to spend time here from mid april unto mid october, there's people coming and going every day.

Neighborhood info

What's perfect about the location is that it's far enough from Groningen to feel the peace & quiet of nature and close enough to the city to enjoy everything it offers. Most guests are surprised when they find out how big and secluded our property is, with it being in a small village. There are a few small lakes in the area and a natural swimming pool in walking distance. The countryside surroundings invite you to walk, ride bicycles, swim or visit the nearby city of Groningen.
