Located in beautiful Southeast Drenthe, this luxurious detached studio, "De Kansel," measures approximately 30m² and is situated in Nieuw-Dordrecht. The large park garden of the old rectory offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests as a B&B or for a short holiday. The accommodation is newly built and will open its doors in 2026!! De Kansel features a luxurious and comfortable alcove bed that provides all guests with a cozy sleeping place. Two spots are accessible via the pulpit stairs. In the relaxing lounge area, you have a view of the small private forest, with occasional glimpses of the local wildlife. You can enjoy a fresh coffee, tea, or drink at the cozy seating area next to the pantry. Through the patio door, you can seek comfort in a lovely south-facing seating area or under the shared canopy of the traditional Drenthe workshop on sunny days. De Kansel offers a wonderfully heated bathroom with everything one needs. Practical details: - Infrared underfloor heating in the living area - Hot water via an 80-liter boiler. (empty = 2 hours heating time) - Wi-Fi available in and around the accommodation - Smart TV available - There are no cooking facilities - Shared covered bicycle storage with charging points

In mid-2024, we were able to realize our dream. We moved into the old rectory in Nieuw-Dordrecht. Our family consists of 6 people, and after several decades, children's voices can be heard again at this beautiful location. The entire garden is utilized by our family and the animals, such as a cat, pigeons, rabbits, chickens, and a proud rooster. To share our dream, we started "B&B De Pastorie." The rectory is part of the traditional quadrilateral (Church, sexton's house, rectory, and schoolmaster's residence) in the center of the village. Nieuw-Dordrecht was founded over a century and a half ago by the lords from Dordrecht. The village is situated on the old Hondsrug, formed during the Ice Age. Over the years, the village has become part of the municipality of Emmen. The surrounding area is locally known for its potatoes and the Peatlands. Across the fields behind the accommodation lies the nearby Oosterbos, where nature, relaxation, and tranquility come together.
