Our farm is located on a spacious private property with trees and a (vegetable) garden in the Zak van Zuid-Beveland. Between the Oosterschelde ( 3 min.) and Westerschelde ( 10 min.). Water lovers, hikers and cyclists will get their money’s worth here. For golf enthusiasts, ‘De Goese Golf’ Course is 10 minutes away. And in half an hour you are on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands (De Banjaard). City visits are also possible. Goes ( 10 min.), Middelburg ( 25 min.), Zierikzee ( 35 min.), Veere ( 35 min) and Bergen op Zoom ( 35 min.) are definitely worth a visit, but you are also within 45 min. Antwerp and via the Westerscheldetunnel in an hour in Ghent! By public transport, take line at Goes NS station to ‘s- Heerenhoek. Get off at the Gemeentehuis stop in Heinkenszand. Then it is a 25 meter walk to our house. By car, take exit Heinkenszand on the A5 . Then it is a 5 minute drive to our house.

Sustainable enjoyment in Zeeland at B&B De Vaete. Our energy-neutral farm is located on the edge of Heinkenszand near the famous flower dikes. From the window you look straight into the polder and you can enjoy cycling and walking in the countryside. Room ‘De Vaete’ is located in our farmhouse. This double room is equipped with all comforts. The room still has its original wooden ceiling and a private terrace. The room has a double bed and a private modern bathroom. Rooms ‘De Weel and ‘De Kreek’ are located in the attached Zeeland barn. Both rooms are equipped with double beds, TV and together they have a spacious private modern bathroom. In addition, there is a kitchen and a second toilet downstairs. The downstairs living room is for general use. Breakfast is served here. The Zeeland barn is attached to our farm, has a private terrace and part of the large garden. Cleaning costs will be charged for the Zeeland barn, namely EUR 75 per stay and to pay on arrival.
