Welcome to 'De Weegbrug'! Since March 2024 we are the proud owners of this charming place in IJzendijke. With our passion for the hospitality industry, complemented by Eni's love for construction jobs, we have made our dream come true: a place where you not only enjoy characteristic studios, but also coziness and good conversation. Property info

The studio's are situated in the old barn behind our house. The barn was formerly used for storage and to stall animals when farmers came to weigh their goods at the "weegbrug" weigh bridge. The weighing scale in the street has been removed, but the actual scale is still present in the small shed on the property.

Neighborhood info

IJzendijke is a lovely village with a lot of history. It's the perfect place to start your cycling or walking journey to discover the "Staats Spaanse linies". We even have a museum that you can visit. The beach is not very far (12km) with its lovely beach pavilions and are a great way to spend a relaxing day. Bigger cities like Ghent, Bruges, Knokke and Sluis are within 30-45 min. drive by car. Cross over by boat and you'll be in Vlissingen or Middelburg in about 30-40 minutes.
