We are Johan (42) and Elvira (36) Dijkstra and live with our three children in a beautiful detached house, located next to the guesthouse. This is located on the north side of our plot, with a wide view over the meadows and in the distance you can even see the sea dike and the lighthouse of Schiermonnikoog. If you like peace, relaxation and privacy, then this is the ultimate place.
I'm Elvira. After years of working in childcare, I chose to be at home with my family. I enjoy combining this with my own guest house. I value cleanliness and a warm, cozy environment, so I do everything I can to make my guests feel right at home. In my free time, I enjoy walking and exercising, and I make sure everything runs smoothly at home.
On holiday in the far north of the province of Friesland? Enjoy together with your family or friends? Be welcome and experience the peace and space in our beautiful guest house "Lânlibben". During your stay, be sure to go shopping in one of the Frisian eleven cities of Dokkum, take the boat from Lauwersoog to Schiermonnikoog or go mudflat hiking in Paesens-Moddergat. This area is also fantastic to explore by bike with its large network of cycle routes. Or are you going for a day trip? Rent a tuk-tuk at Lauwersoog and experience the beautiful nature and farmlands of the area. Choose a route or go your own way. You can use two E-bikes for an additional charge. Are you bringing your own bicycles? These can be stored dry and charged.
