Located in the Frisian countryside, just a five-minute drive from the charming town of Lemmer, you will find our cozy garden cottage offering beautiful, unobstructed views over the meadows. The cottage is situated on our own property of nearly one hectare and has been thoughtfully designed with a focus on privacy and nature. Here, you can enjoy peace, quiet, and plenty of green surroundings. The grounds feature a variety of trees with a walking path running through them, as well as an orchard where you are welcome to pick fresh fruit. In the evening, you can unwind by the outdoor fireplace on your private terrace. Just let us know, and we will set out complimentary firewood for you. You reach the cottage through our garden. Free parking is available on the property, and electric vehicle charging is possible upon request.

CULTURE, SPORTS & LEISURE The Woudagemaal – an impressive UNESCO World Heritage site. Tjeukemeer – ideal for swimming, water sports, and scenic cycling routes. Lemmer – a lively town center with cozy restaurants and waterside terraces. LIFE ON THE FARMYARD Our chickens and cats, as well as those of our neighbors, roam freely around the property. Around the house you’ll find a wide variety of birds, from woodpeckers and storks to owls and other birds of prey. With a bit of luck, you might also spot hedgehogs, hares, and deer. GOOD TO KNOW You’ll be staying in a rural environment. This means plenty of space and tranquility, but also the accompanying sounds such as a crowing rooster, lowing cows, mowing, and general farm noises from nearby properties.
