I am Rianne, interior designer, with a passion for our farmhouse. How can I maintain the farmhouse's atmosphere but with today's comfort? It is challenging for both my husband and I to keep the house and gardens up to date, it is almost a full time job, but we love to share our property with guests from all over the world.

Property info

The original living quarters of the farmhouse have been converted into a very comfortable apartment. The farm was built in 1924 by my great-grandfather and great-grandmother, later my grandparents ran a dairy farm here. After my grandfather's retirement my parents bought the farmhouse in 1993 and they have been renovating ever since. Their latest renovation project was the realisation of this apartment.

Neighborhood info

Woudrichem is a beautiful and historic town on the river Merwede, with several restaurants, hop on the ferry to Slot Loevestein, Gorinchem and historical city Heusden. 2 Supermarkets and bakery only 200 metres from the farmhouse Golfcourses: 5 golfcourses within 25 km Woudrichem is centrally located in the Netherlands; Rotterdam, Utrecht, Breda and 's Hertogenbosch 40 min by car, Antwerp: within 1 hour. De Efteling: 25 min by car De Brabantse Biesbosch is a must for those who love nature. Bike-lovers: Great bike-tours along the rivers to see Holland at its best.
