Kampari is small-scale luxury glamping in Friesland: peace, space and plenty of privacy. Heated accommodation with private bathroom facilities, surrounded by nature.
What makes Kampari unique?
At Kampari you can choose from 9 charming glamping accommodations and two spacious camping pitches. All accommodations are heated and come with private bathroom facilities.
Kampari is located on a quiet dead-end road in Delfstrahuizen, in the heart of the Frisian countryside, surrounded by meadows and trees. It is the perfect place to truly unwind – as a couple, with your family, or with a small group.
Are you looking for a small campsite without an animation team, disco, restaurant or crowds? Then Kampari is exactly the place for you.
Thanks to our spacious 10,000 m² grounds and only 9 rental accommodations plus two camping pitches, you will enjoy plenty of peace and room to escape the rush of everyday life.
In the evening you will mainly hear the sounds of the Frisian countryside: a hopping rabbit, croaking frogs and, above all… silence. End the day with a good book by the campfire or a glass of wine in the hot tub after a wonderful day on the water.
Kampari offers 3 luxury Tiny Houses, 6 charming glamping accommodations and two spacious camping pitches. On arrival, the beds are made, and fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your door on request. A nap in the hammock is part of the experience too.
We believe a good night’s sleep and true relaxation are essential. That is why all accommodations are comfortably furnished, heated and equipped with a luxury private bathroom. Even the small details are taken care of: a mosquito net, a small oven and, above all, excellent beds.
Kampari is the ideal place for anyone who loves luxury camping, peace and privacy. Relax in the green surroundings and enjoy the Frisian outdoor life.
We are Wendy Smit and Willem de Bruijn, nature lovers who enjoy the best of Frisian life.
Since 2013 we have been the proud owners and founders of Kampari. Hospitality is very important to us, as well as a good night’s sleep, a clean accommodation and, above all: giving our guests the space to truly relax and enjoy their luxury camping holiday.
Willem loves sailing and – when possible – is happy to take you out on his boat. And if the children would like to visit a farm, Wendy will gladly arrange it. With care and attention, we work together to make sure you can fully enjoy the peace, space and comfort of Kampari.
We wish you a wonderful holiday!
Friesland has a lot to offer. Besides the vast Frisian Lake District, our province is a wonderful destination for all ages. You will find countless water sports opportunities, free public sandy beaches, excellent cycling routes and lovely towns for dining, culture and shopping. Thanks to Kampari’s central location, it is the perfect base to explore Friesland.
Kampari is located in Delfstrahuizen, in the heart of the Frisian countryside, close to the Frisian lakes. The sandy beach of Delfstrahuizen is nearby and is a great place for children to swim safely. Lake Tjeukemeer, the largest inland lake in Friesland, is also close by and is perfect for sailing, SUP, boating or surfing.
Walking and cycling are fantastic here. Thanks to the Frisian cycling junction network, you can start beautiful routes directly from Kampari. We have selected the best routes for our guests; they will be ready for you on arrival. Would you like to rent a bicycle? No problem — we can arrange it for you at Kampari.
A short distance from Kampari you will find the river Tjonger and the nature areas Brandemeer, Rottige Meenthe and the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. These areas are ideal for walking, cycling and enjoying nature and tranquillity.
Kampari is also a great location for day trips. Leeuwarden is a lively city with lots of culture and events. The fortified town of Sloten is the smallest city of the famous Eleven Cities Tour. Sneek, Harlingen, Hindeloopen and Franeker are all worth a visit for atmosphere, museums, shops and great places to eat. Many of these towns can be reached within about 45 minutes.
Would you like to go out on the water but you are not an experienced sailor (or it has been a while)? Then you can join host Willem for a day of sailing. His sailboat has a spacious cockpit for five adults. Enjoy the water along the way — and if you like, you can even take the helm yourself.
