La perle is sitated in a historical building going back to 1664 when De Gruyter started his grocery shope here in Utrecht. It has been renovated and you may find your own kitchen and big living room and bed room. The twijnstraat is lively street full of small shopkeeps, bakeies and grocery stores.. Next to us, there is a famous cheese shop. Unfortunately the smell of old cheese goes through the walls, so in the hall way you may smell a typical Dutch flavour. If you keep the doors closed, in the living room and bed room you will not smell it...
Our daudgter and her husband run a fashion shop on the ground floor. There you will get the keys. Checking in during the opening hours of the shop is necessary!
If you like to go jogging: th park is just around the corner. If you like to go shopping: small shops with a lot of variety are in the street. The Louis Hartlooper complex shows the latest movies and on ledig erf you have a drink at the terraces. The canal is just behind our building: it gives a nice walk with a hisorical view
