Noorderhaecks is quietly located in the outskirts of the village of Den Hoorn. In the yard is the owner's house, the new attractive 4-person recreation apartment 'de Reede', two luxury 2-person suites 'Maarten Tromp' and 'Michiel de Ruyter' and Loft apartment 'de Zeven Provinciën'. After a major renovation, the former farm has been converted into a country house with all the comforts of today. A fantastic place with 'the Hors nature reserve', part of the Dunes of Texel National Park, a stone's throw away. It is the most rugged area of ​​Texel.

Noorderhaecks is located in the beautiful south of Texel, 250 meters from the Duinen van Texel National Park. Immediately behind the Prins Hendrik Waddendijk and with the ferry within walking distance, this location is a surprising spot. Where the Wadden Sea changes into the North Sea, hidden behind greenery, Noorderhaecks offers the tranquility and space of Texel combined with good accessibility to the popular villages, bus service, the Dunes of Texel National Park, nature areas de Mokbaai and the Hors and the beach. Noorderhaecks consists of a residential house, a 4-person recreation apartment, two luxury 2-person suites and a beautiful 4-person Loft apartment. It was modernized in 2018 and reclassified as a country house. In 2019 the former stable was converted into a recreational home and country house suites on both the ground floor and the first floor. The country house has a private access road to a spacious yard.

Noorderhaecks is a good base for the ideal holiday. Our yard is at the starting point of hiking, cycling and MTB routes. With National Park the Dunes of Texel a stone's throw away, it is here for the 'outdoor people' to Enjoy with a large E. 15 minutes by bike you are on the beach or in the beautiful town of Den Hoorn. Here you will also find the closest supermarket and catering outlets. For the true connoisseur, you can also find star restaurant 'Bij Jef' here. The Prins Hendrik Zanddijk is located behind our country house. A beautiful new dike with a large beach that is equipped for water birds. The dike is known from the VOC era as the Reede van Texel. Here the VOC ships were 'safely' sheltered behind Texel. Unfortunately, dozens of ships have died here. Much can be seen about this in the Kaaps Skil museum in the village of Oudeschild.
