We purchased this holiday home on Kuierpad, featuring two bedrooms and a traditional sleeping alcove, and have completely modernised it. Since the beginning of 2024, the holiday homes have been equipped with new, free Wi-Fi. We are very enthusiastic about this beautiful holiday park, the cosy bungalow, and its stunning surroundings. We hope our guests will enjoy their stay just as much as we do. This attractive and fully equipped holiday bungalow features two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and, as an extra, a charming sleeping alcove in the living room. One bedroom has a comfortable double box-spring bed, while the other offers two single beds. A cot and high chair are available free of charge, and a washing machine is provided in the storage room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and an air fryer. The bungalow is located close to the swimming lake with its sandy beach, climbing park, and various other facilities. During the holiday periods, an entertainment team organises activities for guests. From the holiday park, you can walk or cycle directly into the extensive forests or enjoy part of the famous Pieterpad walking trail. There is plenty to see and do both within the park and in the surrounding area.

We are the Kroese family. For many years we spent our holidays in the German Eifel region, but Drenthe has always held a special place in our hearts. As a child, I spent many holidays here with my parents and created wonderful memories of the peace, nature, and open space. Those special memories inspired us to create our own holiday home in this beautiful location. Beautiful walking trails through the Slenerzand nature reserve start directly from the holiday park, while a variety of cycling routes can be found nearby. The nearby village of Schoonoord offers several restaurants, a pizzeria, a Chinese restaurant, and snack bars. It is also well known for the Ellert and Brammert Open-Air Museum, where you can discover the local legends of the giants Ellert and Brammert and experience traditional life in Drenthe. The village also has a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy/drugstore, and other everyday amenities. The picturesque villages of Orvelte and Wezup are just a short bike ride away. A little further afield are the cities of Emmen, Coevorden, and Assen, all offering excellent shopping, attractions, museums, and family-friendly activities. Whether you are looking for nature, culture, relaxation, or adventure, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.
