Your hostess and manager, Miranda, warmly welcomes you. Born and raised in Sint-Maartensdijk, she knows the island of Tholen inside and out. Miranda loves having everything well organized, enjoys coming up with solutions, and is happy to be there for her guests. In her free time, Miranda loves walking along the dike with her dogs, Peanut and Cookie, two Basset Hounds.

The Pluimpot is a former side channel of the Oosterschelde that leads to the picturesque villages of Sint-Maartensdijk and Scherpenisse. The nature here is ever-changing through the play of sun, wind, and water, with cozy little beaches, creeks and dikes, winding country roads, and expansive fields. This is a paradise for lovers of nature, peace, and open space. An extensive network of walking and cycling paths winds along the coastline and through nature reserves and charming villages. The old center of Sint-Maartensdijk is 3 kilometers away and has no less than 27 national monuments, including the Gothic Maartenskerk and the old Town Hall. On the historic market square, you’ll find two supermarkets, a Lidl and a Spar. Additionally, there is a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and post office. You can dine on the ground floor at Brasserie De Zeester. There are also other restaurants, places for fries and snacks and farm-fresh ice cream in the area.
