Our chalet is situated on a quiet, green park with plenty of space to truly unwind. Here, you start your day with birds singing and a cup of coffee in the sun, and end it with long, relaxed evenings. Stay Smiley is the perfect base for discovering Zeeland. Explore the surroundings by bike, take beautiful walks through the Zeeland landscape, or enjoy a wonderful day at the beach. Charming towns like Goes and Middelburg are also nearby. Whether you come to get active or simply do nothing at all – here you slow down, recharge, and enjoy yourself at your own pace 😊. The accommodation 🌿Garden and hot tub Step straight from the chalet into the garden, a place made for relaxation. Here you will find space to enjoy the outdoors. On the terrace, there is a comfortable garden set where you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning or linger over dinner in the evening. Those who prefer to sit back can sink into the sun loungers or gently swing in the hammock (located in the shed) between the posts of the pergola. For extra luxury, a delightful hot tub is ready for you, perfect for unwinding after an active day. You can easily store your belongings in the cozy shed, from bicycles to hiking gear. 🛌 Layout of the chalet You will sleep in one of the two comfortable bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Thanks to the blackout curtains, you will enjoy a wonderful night's sleep here. The modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and LED mirror ensures a fresh start to your day. In the open kitchen, you can easily prepare something delicious, and at the dining table, you can enjoy cozy moments together. The living room invites you to sit down, relax, and above all… enjoy.

We are Shai and Sanne, We are the proud owners of Stay Smiley, a place we love to visit ourselves to relax and enjoy everything Zeeland has to offer. The name Smiley was conceived by our children. After they had visited the chalet a few times, they wanted to give this place a name of their own, so they would know exactly where we were going when we used that name. To them, this place felt like Smiley... warm, cheerful, and full of fond memories. That name fit the atmosphere of the chalet so well that we have kept it with love. We believe it is important that our guests feel right at home immediately. That is why we have furnished the chalet with care and attention, with an eye for comfort and atmosphere. Our goal is for you to fully enjoy all the beautiful spots Zeeland has to offer. Service and personal contact are central to our approach. Our lodge is part of the Stelleplas Recreation Area. At this park, you will find, among other things, the Stelleplas outdoor pool, Restaurant-Brasserie Stelleplas, Fishing Water Stelleplas, and the adjacent Bungalow Park Hof van Zeeland. The park is managed by the Association of Owners Stelleplas. The grounds comprise approximately 200 plots and are occupied by both permanent and seasonal guests. In the Lodge, you will find a comprehensive folder with information about excursions and events. Nature & Water Stay Smiley is situated in the heart of the “Zak van Zuid-Beveland” National Landscape, a paradise for walkers and cyclists. Moreover, water is never far away in Zeeland: 2 min: Fishing Water Stelleplas. 1 min: The heated outdoor swimming pool. 10 min (by car): The Veerse Meer (beach) or the Eastern and Western Scheldt. 20 min (by car): The North Sea coast near Vlissingen. Charming towns and villages In the immediate vicinity lie various cozy villages and historic towns that are certainly worth a visit: Goes (15 min by car): A city with a charming historic center.
