Detached house with garden all around, very tastefully decorated and equipped with all luxury and comfort. The house has a spacious sitting area with an L-shaped sofa and separate armchair around the wood stove. In the open kitchen there is a smeg stove, a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The 6-person dining table invites you to cozy dinners. In addition to the washer/dryer, the utility room also has an air fryer, magimix, microwave, sandwich maker, toaster, orange juicer and mixer. Outside there is a sitting area, where it is wonderful to eat breakfast in the summer, a 6-person outdoor table and of course a BBQ. The garden is richly provided with all kinds of fruit trees, a vegetable and herb garden, which guests can enjoy. For small children there is a playhouse in the garden. Older children can go to the playground in the village. The sleeping floor has three bedrooms, one large and two smaller ones. On the floor is the bathroom and the 2nd toilet. There is a private space and cupboard under the stairs for your dog. In addition, a dog basket, cushion, long leash and movable fence are available on request.

Our family enjoyed holiday home Lavendel from 2011 to 2024. We came there from the Randstad every weekend and all holidays. We sought and found peace, cosiness and the Burgundian life. The children loved swimming in the Grevelingen, from the mostly unknown beaches. Catching crabs, looking at the underwater life with diving goggles. Later they learned to sail, paddle board and tour in a rubber boat. Jorgen and I loved swimming, sailing, cycling and running in the area. And to cook delicious food with local ingredients such as mussels, cockles or lobster. Or we went out for a nice meal. in the village at the Ouwe Smisse or in the park at Hofstede Viletta. A little further away in Brouwershaven, by the sea, in the monumental city of Zierikzee, there are also many nice restaurants. Eventually we moved from the Randstad and went to live in Zierikzee. I enjoy providing others with a relaxing holiday or weekend from our holiday home, telling our guests about the area and what there is to do.

Zonnemaire is a small, artistic village, where musicologists, artists and creatives feel at home. There is a nice mix of locals and tourists. A few minutes walk from the house is a good restaurant with a nice terrace. There is often live jazz music there on Sundays. The house is located on a small-scale holiday park. At the adjacent B&B you can rent bicycles, use the breakfast service and have dinner at the weekend (in high season). You can do your daily shopping in the nice harbor town of Brouwershaven. The house is located close to the Grevelingenmeer and the historic Zierikzee.
