Lekker vakantie vieren in mooi ingericht vakantiehuis, meteen aan het water en vlakbij het Slotermeer met haar mooie strandjes. De sprookjesachtige Gaasterlandse bossen en het gezellige centrum van Balk zijn in de nabije omgeving. Lopen langs het Slotermeer kan meteen vanuit het huis. Ideale uitvalsbasis om te gaan wandelen, fietsen of watersporten: bijv. varen met een sloep, zeilen, surfen, vissen of zwemmen. Ook kunt u bij ons een sloep of zeilboot huren en deze aanleggen aan de eigen ligplaats met elektrisch stopcontact. Deze is gelegen aan de tuin op het Z. met groot terras en BBQ. Goed uitgeruste keuken, open haard, wasmachine, droger, DVD-films, flatscreen. Goed af te sluiten schuur, handig voor uw elektrische fietsen. In Balk is voor Friese begrippen een groot winkelaanbod. Er zijn o.a. een bakker, slager, visboer, 3 supermarkten, diverse kleding- en schoenenzaken, drogisterijen, cadeauwinkels, een Bruna en Hema. In de buurt kunnen zeil- en surflessen genomen worden. Ook kan er gesuppt worden: alle benodigdheden hiervoor zijn vlakbij te huur. 2 honden zijn welkom en in de buurt is een bos, waar uw hond los mag lopen. Kortom: een ideale plek voor een ontspannen vakantie.
