Our holiday home (approx. 90 m²) is situated at the back of our property, next to our beautifully landscaped orchard. It is located on the edge of the village of IJzerlo, in the municipality of Aalten. The house is suitable for a maximum of 4 people and features a storage room, a separate toilet, bedroom 1 (with an electrically adjustable bed), a kitchen/living room, bedroom 2, and a bathroom. Upon arrival, the beds are made, and kitchen linen and clean towels are provided. WiFi is available. Outside, you can make use of the terrace in the orchard and the private terrace at the holiday home. You can store your own bicycles in the shed and charge them there. Additionally, there is ample (free) parking available at the holiday home.
Roe deer, pheasants, various birds, and hares can regularly be seen from the orchard. We also have two oxen roaming in the pasture. The surroundings are perfect for sporting activities; for instance, you can enjoy walking or cycling close to the German border. After your ride, grab a delicious ice cream at the Koskamp farm shop and dairy farm on Thijsweg, or buy meat locally. Do you love horses? The Hippisch Centrum de Achterhoek riding school is our neighbor. Feeling hungry after walking or cycling? Then you can head to IJzerlo for a tasty lunch, drinks, or dinner at 't Dorpshuus. Would you like to see more of the area? Then a visit to the teapot museum (2.8 km) at ‘t Westendorp farm is a fun outing. Or visit the annual country fair. During the summer months, the Aaltendagen take place in Aalten
