VierVaart is situated in the country side, on the edge of pittoresk village Groede. The surroundings offers very good cycling and walking routes. Close by is De Blikken, a natural area also known as a bird area. To the sea is 3 km, the beaches are labeled 'Blauwe Vlag' which means they are safe and clean, a pleasure to be there and swim.
