The village of Kollum is 4 kilometers away, convenient for daily shopping and a charming shopping street to stroll through. The fortified town of Dokkum, also the turning point of the Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour), offers a wide range of fun activities just 7 kilometers away. The larger cities of Leeuwarden and Groningen are also easily accessible for day trips, just a 35-40 minute drive away. Consider a visit to Lauwersmeer National Park or a boat trip to the Wadden Island of Ameland.
