Views in all directions: From our balconies and windows, you can follow city life, scout for whales on the horizon, or be captured by the northern lights and the midnight sun. Everything right outside your door: You live in the middle of the butternut squash, with a short distance to whale safaris, the iconic lighthouse and local eateries. June is the creative soul of the apartment and your closest neighbor. She runs the cozy interior and souvenir shop located directly below the apartment. With her keen eye for design, June has created a warm and inviting atmosphere in every room. She loves providing that "little extra" to make your stay special. If you’re looking for a unique gift or beautiful interior treasures, June is never more than a floor away. Frank Jarl is our steady source of local knowledge. As a professional fisherman with his own boat, he knows the seas and weather conditions around Andøya better than most. Whether you need help with something practical or want to know where the whales were spotted, Frank is always nearby with a helping hand and a good story from the sea. The capital of whale watching: You are just a short walk from the pier where the whale watching boats depart. Andenes is one of the best places in the world to see sperm whales year-round. Andenes Lighthouse: The iconic red lighthouse from 1859 dominates the cityscape and is a great photo opportunity, just a few minutes away from the apartment. Peak hikes and beaches: The path up to Ramnan and Måtind mountain offers fantastic views, and the chalk-white beach at Bleik (one of Norway's most beautiful) is only 10 minutes away by car. Shopping: Since you live downtown, you have easy access to grocery stores, pharmacies, and small local niche shops. Transport and accessibility. Andøya Airport (ANX): The airport is incredibly convenient, just 2-3 minutes by car from the apartment.
