“The owner was wonderful. We came in from the pilgrimage without anything but a pack of ramen. In little time she brought us tomato soup mix, pasta, granola, milk, a pack of mixed beans, eggs and 2 beers. She is my hero.”

Driva Hytter is located in Drivdalen in Oppdal municipality, 8km south of Oppdal city center and have easy access either from Oslo or Trondheim City. Here is the country's richest plant life and in addition there is a rich wildlife, with musk and Europe's cleanest wildlife pond. Drivdalen is surrounded by beautiful mountains, Dovrefjell and Sunndalsfjella National Park and Knutshø Landscape Protection Area.
