Your host will be Lofoten Vacation which provide service and information as well as cleaning and bedlinen/towels etc. You will be well informed before you arrive. Please read the emails we provide and there should be easy to access the cabin when you arrive :)

The cabin is situated on a small top in the terrain and the view is stunningly beautiful. With large windows you can sit inside on a stormy days and watch the waves break one sea just some 100 meters from the cabin. There is one bedroom with a double bed inside the cabin and one annex with two beds right behind the cabin. The cabin is listed for only three people and that the third one must stay on the sofa or in the annex.

Eggum - one of the finest areas on the outside of Lofoten. With its peculiar coastline where the large round stones indicate the forces of the sea, with the steep mountains that create the well-known silhouette Eggum is known for. Here you will find a village full of history - way back to the dawn of time. Today you still find a harbor at the entrance to Eggum which is in operation during the big Lofoten fishing in the winter. If you are here during that time of the year you can buy a good dinner directly from fishermen on the pier. The view from every corner of Eggum is unique and you can enjoy the midnight sun in the summer nights or a wonderfully beautiful northern light from September till April. There is a rich wildlife out here and a lots of bird species with eagles at the top of the list! Out in the sea you can find everything from puffins to killer whales (orcas). The silence is so special and so good for your health and fit the beautiful surroundings perfectly. Almost no traffic, and no other sound than nature itself, allow you to feel the tranquility and the holiday can fully be enjoyed - welcome!
