The house is perfect for those arriving to / leaving Senja on a summer ferry! Located 300 m / 4 min walk from the embarkation area, our house features two twin bedrooms, one triple room, spacious and comfortable living room and a fully equipped kitchen. You will fall in love with the view, as the house is located in the upper part of the village overlooking the fjord (one can see the arrival of the ferry) and the surrounding mountains. We are convinced that we can boast the best view in Gryllefjord and we are sure that with the good weather you will appreciate it too. If you want to take a summer ferry to Andenes we advice you to leave the car in the queue for embarkation the night before, to be sure to get onboard on the first ferry leaving Gryllefjord at 11:00 a.m. Then you can easily reach the house on foot and have a peaceful overnight and relax at FeelSenja Gryllefjord Holiday House :) The house is in a side street, so away from high season hassle, but still close to the local shop & restaurant. To make you feel cosy and have a full relax we decorated the interior with pictures taken in the Arctic. You will also find books in English, Italian, French and Polish language. We do not provide wifi which always surprise our Guests at the first moment, but after a while they thank us for that, saying that it was the best relax ever. So no internet but books and the view. Want to discover this feeling? House interior - the living room, kitchen and bedrooms as well as a small bathroom featuring the shower have been renovated / refreshed in June 2024. If you have any special wishes, please contact us in advance and we will try to help you by providing what you need. We will try to fulfil your requests. Living in the North is our choice. We’ve travelled the World, visited over 120 countries all over, but it was once we came to the North we got fascinated by the uncontaminated beauty. We settled down above the arctic circle and continue discovering this part of our planet while we are more than happy to be able to share it with tourists and nature passionates coming to stay with us from all over the World. We are truly passionate about guiding. We know what is important while traveling and that is why we want to provide all of it to our Guests visiting the area for a day, for a weekend or for a week. Summer, winter or mid-season holidays. We love living here, we are in love with the North and we want you to be amazed with this part of the planet as well. In our private life we are fascinated by meeting different cultures, we love international literature and Italian opera (ok, ok, Richard Wagner is great as well :) ...). We run a small travel agency and our motto is "The North belongs to us." while the main rule for life is definitely Carpe Diem! We can assist you in English, Italian, French and Polish languages, we also communicate in Spanish & Portuguese (at least we try to xD ).

Senja is one of the most beautiful Norwegian islands. An encounter with this island will give you an experience of a lifetime. Senja is called “Norway in miniature” because one can experience here literally all the Norwegian landscapes gathered in one place: steep mountains, sandy beaches, valleys full of countless lakes, vast plains or different fjords: broad in the east and dramatically narrow in the west. Senja offers incredibly lot of possibilities of tours and excursions, treks or hikes, biking or water sports, climbing or skiing… to make it short: it’s a paradise for Norwegian friluftslive style lovers. Senja is also a landmark of uncontaminated wildness where one can spend the time away from mass tourism that comes to Tromso city or the archipelago of Lofoten. The second largest island of continental Norway is definitely our first choice in the Arctic and Gryllefjord at its southern west tip is a perfect gateway both for active holidays (perfect for skimountainering, trekking and more) and for lazy relax at the nearby Caribbean - like beaches ;) If you need any special tips or planning of your stay, we, as the local guides, will be happy to assist you.
