Welcome to Innsletta, an old farm house located in the beautiful Toppsundet near Harstad. The main house has been recently renovated and here you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay in scenic surroundings.
When you arrive you will find ready made beds, towels as well as shampoo and toilet paper for a few days. For longer stay you may have to buy this yourself.
Need a car? We have an extra car that we rent to our guests for a modest price. If you arrive by air you can take the Airport Express Bus to Harstad Central Station and I meet you there with the car. Contact me for details.
My name is Robert and I am your host at Innsletta. The family has owned it for generations and it has been a traditional Norwegian farm right up until the 1980s since when it has been used for holidays and recreation. I will not normally be present while you stay at the farm but am only a phone call away if you need me.
On hot summer days you can swim in the Toppsundet or go to Elgsnes and visit the beautiful beach just 5km away. Here you can also take a peak trip to Elgen, which is nearby and enjoy the spectacular view from there. Nearby, it is possible to rent a boat from Toppsundet Havfiske. In winter, there is great skiing on Aunfjellet and you can see the northern lights straight from the living room window on clear days!
If you fancy urban experiences, Harstad is just half an hour away by car with a varied and exciting cultural life and a rich selection of restaurants and shops.
Be aware that there can be harsh weather conditions in northern Norway, especially in winter. Keep an eye on the forecast and make sure the car has good tires and bring extra warm clothes.
