We are Remco and Corti Nijboer. We welcome you at Fossumsanden Camping. Especially a warm welcome for anyone who chooses our campsite for the location, the energy, the sauna or, for example, based on previous stays. We think we have a special campsite to stay several nights. We believe that you should experience our campsite. And that is why this campsite is less suitable for us for 1 night-stays. Property info

Fossumsanden Camping is a nature camping. A campsite for people who want to connect with Norway in the way it should be. Camping at the lake. Each cabin has its own charm and is decorated differently. Each cabin also has its own terrace. It's full equipped. No water, toilet or shower in the cabins. You have to bring your own bedsheets (in case of sleeping in a sleeping bag you have to bring a pillowcase), or rent it at our place (incl. towels). You need NOK 10 to use te showers. The reception is open between 19:00 - 20:00 and 9:00 - 10:00. And for people who love sauna: we have, maybe, the best sauna in the world.... get surprised!

Neighborhood info

The campsite is situated at the lake, next to the waterfall in which you can go in to after using the sauna (for rent). It is quiet, surrounded by mountains en the energy is special in a good way. There are a lot of hikes you can do and we can give you some advise. Fyresdal with Hamaren is close by. You can also visit Eidsborg Stavkirke for example. Enough to explore for everyone who wants to connect with nature. If you like entertainment: don't come.
