Heimbrygga is set on a 200 years old charming wooden building and the oldest running Brygga on Skrova. Right by the ferry dock, it has been for many years, the main meeting place for locals and tourists alike. Our accommodation is on the first floor, we have 3 rooms with traditional bunk beds (double bed down and a single bed on top) and 1 single room to rent. There is a spacious living room with a basic kitchenette and an amazing view to the waterfront. The premises include 2 shared bathrooms. Unfortunatelly, due to our rooms are set on a historical small building does not have wheelchair facilities available. Heimbrygga Restaurant is on the ground floor and offers delicious quality food, at an affordable price, in a cozy authentic atmosphere. Our beautiful wooden Brygga has still most of the original wood and the full charm of a traditional local Brygga, which also means that the sound isolation is very basic and can be a bit noisy, mainly on the weekends. Our rooms are available to rent all year around, however our restaurant has a limited schedule through the year, due to our very special location. Skrova is a beautiful small island above the arctic circle known as Lofoten's little Hawaii, due to its white sandy beaches and crystal turquoise waters. There is a very artsy atmosphere with various art and photo galleries and small outdoor exhibitions through the island. The most famous is the tunnel photo exhibition representing 100 years of Skrova history in photos! The views from anywhere on the island are stunning and there are plenty of walking paths to enjoy nature! Not to miss the top of the Skrova Fjell, one of the most amazing views of Lofoten.
