Comfortable good sized bed and welcoming host. Thank you Lene for the great travel tips, not just for Svolvaer but also for the Lofoten Islands (which we loved). We appreciated your hospitality. Sharing bathroom facilities with another couple was...

Good location, but off the beaten path. The hostess is spectacularly kind, and comes with all sorts of recommendations for and knowledge of Svolvær and Lofoten. Most comfortable bed in Norway!

Loved having a traditional dinner of whale meat with Lene and her family. She also had many great suggestions on what to see/do in Svolvaer and beyond in the Lofoten Islands.

Welcome to an older but charming, eccentric and eclectic house in the middle of Svolvær. The house was built in 1966, and my family have been fishermen for years. Now I have moved home, and am usually in the house when you live here. I also have a cat. There are 2 toilets in the house. Bathtub and shower. You can borrow the washing machine and dryer. I also have various travel equipment. We share the kitchen, bathroom/toilet and living room. You get plenty of space for food etc in the fridge and freezer. Coffee, tea, oil for cooking, pasta, rice in the kitchen for you.
Please reed : This is living with the locals. The house is from 1966. You share it with me, my cat, sometimes my family... And -also guests from all over the world. When i'm home, i'll sometimes make dinner for all the guests. It's so heartwarming to see friendship has been made during dinner. I love it!! Other guests also have good tips about what to do, where to visit. I think i have a really good place for singel travelers. Also becouse you can rent onley 1 night. I'll do my best to make sure you'll have a good time in Svolvær. Sometimes you'll have the house all by you'r self. ( i visit family) But there will always be someone Who clean the house every day, and will help you if you need tips etc .
Quiet, but in short walk to centrum. It takes 5 min to walk by the harbour, to the city center. You'll find Hurtigruta, Speedboat to Bodø and div trips to Trolldjorden within 5 min walk. I also have warm clothes, walkingsticks etc if you need to borrow. ( Not every size, but from s-l , for free) Helle, the airport in Svolvær is 13 min with taxi.
