Hi, I’m Annemarie! Together with my husband Mick and our four young children — two girls (7 and 1) and two boys (5 and 4) — we love welcoming other families to our second home. The surroundings here are truly special. We fell in love with the little town of Venabygd, and we enjoy sharing it with guests who appreciate nature, peace and a slower pace of life. It’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect — both with nature and with each other. We also have a friendly black Labrador puppy. So if your kids love dogs, they’ll feel right at home! 🐾

🌲 The Area The home is strategically located in the heart of nature — just: 10 minutes to Rondane National Park (for hiking, wildlife and stunning views) 10 minutes to Ringebu (shops, cafés and local culture) 20 minutes to Kvitfjell Ski Resort Surrounded by cross-country trails, forest paths and peaceful farmland. It’s the perfect base for discovering both the wild and the cozy side of Norwegian mountain life. 🔑 Guest Access Guests have exclusive access to the entire house, terrace and garden. There’s free parking right outside the door, and WiFi is available throughout the home. Check-in is simple and contactless for your convenience. 🌙 Other Things to Note Ideal for families and couples looking for quiet and comfort. The house combines historic charm with modern essentials. Firewood is provided for the stove during colder months. The home is best reached by car (in the winter we strongly recommend 4x4 with good tires!).
