They are measured by stories. The Mission: I watched accommodation prices skyrocket while travelers had less money left for actual adventures. I wanted to offer an alternative. Welcome to our stationary vehicle hostel located right in the heart of Svolvær, within short walking distance to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. Our property offers a unique, budget-friendly accommodation experience inside a private collection of classic adventure and touring rigs: Rooms 1, 2, and 3: Compact, classic Volkswagen T3 camper vans. Room 4 (The German Legend): A spacious, heavy-duty 1977 Mercedes Düdo Hoch-Lang van styled as a rustic Jäger Cabin. This unit features full standing height, a private separate toilet room, and a sink with cold running water inside the vehicle. Bathroom & Shower Facilities: To preserve the authentic vintage nature of these classic touring rigs, none of them contain built-in indoor hot showers. Modern, warm public showers and toilets are located just a short walk away from the parking site. This setup is ideal for backpackers, climbers, and independent travelers looking for a central, unique, and highly authentic base camp in Lofoten.
