Lofoten Vacation, the host, provides support and service to our guests. We deliver mandatory cleaning, bedlinen and towels. We respect your privacy and you might not see or hear from us during your stay. But just give us a call if you want to say hello or there is a need of assistance :) If we get your cellphone number we can send a message if Aurora dance (Northern light) or there should be any alerts you should know about! We are the only one in Lofoten that provides this kind of service to over guests :)

This beautiful rorbu is located at the waterfront on the foot of the majestic mountain Himmeltinden. This is a typically fishermans place that has been modernized and now offer a good standard apartment. The apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The living room is spacious and with a stunning view. The kitchen offers the most things you need and has a dining table with view over the fjord and hills. The area is one of the most famous in Lofoten and you are really close to the well known surf-beach at Unstad. The mountain Himmeltinden is this municipalities largest with its 964 meters going straight down into the Atlantic Ocean. This apartment is located very central in Lofoten and could be your safe base for your total vacation in Lofoten. We include essentials, bedlinen, towels etc in the rent. As the only one in Lofoten we offer Aurora alerts if there is a visible northern lights on the sky, and other warnings or alerts especially during winter season - just leave a mobile phone number that we can reach out to you on :) Welcome!

There is a rich wildlife in the area and both eagles, moose, otters and fox comes by from time to time. Many beautiful hiking areas for both legs and bikes. Several mountain peaks in the area can be reached on foot if you want to leave the car. Anyway, the house is located centrally in Lofoten and there are short distances to almost anything you want to explore. From the windows in the house you can see directly out on the Atlantic Ocean and the highest mountain in the area - Himmeltinden. And the Northern lights can bee seen easily from the house during the Aurora season that goes from late August to mid April. To Svolvær and Henningsvær it is some 50 minutes by car in the north-eastern direction. Leknes town is only 15 minutes away where you find several supermarkets and a shopping mall. The Viking Museum is located some 7-8 minutes away - on E10.
