One of our earlier visitors from California wrote this: This place is amazing as is the rest of Lofoten. When looking at my Norway guide book cover (by Discovery Channel), the photo they chose, out of thousands of beautiful places in all of Norway, could have been taken from the living room sofa in this fantastic place. (That being said, as I walked down to the front door, the front porch/deck was right over the harbor where schools of fish and a variety of birds could be seen. Once inside, the kitchen, living room and dining room all have fantastic views of the harbor and the mountains up along the coast of the Lofoten Island. The bedrooms are towards the back of the cabin and are easily darkened for sleeping in the summer months. From the front deck there are steps down to a lower deck and then down to a private dock. I really enjoyed my stay here and can’t wait to do it again.

There are plenty of things to do both to the northeast and southwest of here from fishing, museums, mountain hiking, etc.. you can be very active, or just sit back and relax. The ferry to Bodo is about 10 minutes away by car and Leknes airport is about 50 minutes away, this a pretty easy place to get to. Bus communicated both to ferry and airport.
