Our wonderful new cottage (winter 2016) is situated on the mountain, just 3 km from norways biggest lake Mjøsa and 30 km from Hurdal skiresort. With stunning views, it is a paradise for both summer and winter activities. ( skiing, mountain biking, hunting, swimming, fishing, hiking+) The cottage is fully equipped, and also has a woodburning fireplace innside and a barbque house and a garage + 4-5 cars outside fishing Stange Almenning is 125,000 acres. There are 15 lakes and ponds, as well as many kilometers of rivers and streams with excellent conditions for fishing and outdoor activities. Here it is possible to fish trout, roe, perch, pike and sik. All fishing including crayfish is managed by local hunters and fishermen's associations. Stange Almenning has an agreement with Stange Hunter and Fisheries Association, where you will find information about fishing in the public area that makes it easier to plan the fishing trip.
