Newly restored old farmhouse situated at the seaside in middle of a spacious site with a spectacular view to the Lyngen Alps. Wintertime the Northern Lights often flames over the fjord. Summertime one of the best places for watching the midnight sun along the route to Cape North. Amazing location that i know you will love!
Welcome to my favorite place for holidays with my family and friends in fantastic surroundings in midts of Lyngenfjord. From here you, in short, time can reach all attractions in Nord-Troms and find spectacular things to do, like skiing, hiking, and fishing at the fjord. You will find shops of all kinds and cafes and museums only half an hour ride by car in the picturesque small towns in Nordreisa, Skjervøy. Enjoy your stay in my old farmhouse originally from middle of 1800th century, being home for my family for generations. This place is not possible to imagine before you are here. Welcome to the Lyngen fjord and Nordreisa Municipality. Finn-Steffen, host.
The mountains surrounding the house gives a lot of possibilities for skitouring and randonè skiing as well as a lot of hiking routes in the summertime. Right behind the house you can walk up to popular Storhaugen, experience the fabulous sight from top and ski right down to the sea. Five minutes north along the road a short trip with a free ferry brings you over to Havnnes, Norway`s northernmost preserved trading place still in operation. After skiing down from famous Uløytind, visit the old store, the local museum and the photo gallery presenting life in Lyngen in former days. Fjordfishing is a very popular activity may to september. Rental boats are available from several points in the area.
