The house is located centrally in Olderdalen, in the heart of Lyngen, with direct access (walk 200 m and take your skis on) to one of the most popular mountains in the entire Lyngen area (Giilavarri, 1163 m). This is an intermediate trip with a spectacular view. You will also have direct access to the more challenging Nordmannviktinden (1355 m) with an even more astounding view. Multiple peaks are available through a short car drive or by taking the nearby ferry to Lyngseidet. A grocery store is located in short walking distance from the house, and there is also a gas station in the village. The central location of the house also makes it a perfect place for stop-overs if you are driving through the Lyngen area on your way to/back from North Cape and Finnmark. Bathroom and kitchen are newly refurbished (2017)!
Beeing a ski enthusiast living in Oslo, I keep this house in order to live out my passion for back country skiing in the exceptional Lyngen mountains!
Olderdalen is located on the sunny side of the Lyngen fjord and has spectacular views of the Lyngen mountains, summer and winter. Mountains are easily accessible, and there is also a marked path up the valley for more easy hiking in the summer.
