Outside the cabin you'll find a large veranda with plenty of space for relaxing in the sun. There's also a fire pit, barbecue and garden furniture, so you can enjoy the outdoors to the full. The cabin has a great location with plenty of space between the neighbors, giving a sense of privacy. The area around the cabin offers fantastic hiking areas such as Numedalshovda, Skirvveggen, Lufsjåen, Killingskaret, Dagerøhytta and Mykletjønn. You can also visit Mydalen for farmhouse fare, or take a trip to Skirvedalen Fjellstue for pizza and baked goods. For those wishing to explore more of the area, Rjukan with its World Heritage Museum, Tungtvannsmuseet, Krossobanen and Gaustaoppen is only an hour's drive away. It is always nice to get together at the cabin for activities both in summer and winter. We enjoy the many ski trails in winter and the varied hiking terrain in summer. And the best thing is the early morning hours with a fire in the fireplace and a fantastic view of the majestic Gaustatoppen. It's a wonderful start to the day.
