Our hosts were welcoming and the stay was very comfortable. I had lost faith in rentals given some bad experiences, but this has made me reconsider. The location was quiet yet close to all the attractions. If we are back in Oslo, we would love...

So bright and airy! Gorgeous spot in a great location. No faults. Excellent communication from Miriam and we loved the special touches to the apartment that showed personality, including breakfast on arrival!

The apartment is situated on the corner of Huitfeldt gate 25, 1. floor/1er étage. (In Norway this is 2. etg.) The building is listed, from 1878. The apartment is 51 sq.m but it doesn't feel too small due to the high ceiling (3,5 m.). We offer 3 separate bedrooms. (One bedroom has a bunk bed with a ladder/staircase. There is good space up there, but not reccomended if you have trouble using steep ladders. The living room also offers a sleeping couch. (It might get warm in the bunk-bed bedroom on hot summerdays. Air Condition is not allowed in these listed buildings, sorry). Standard: Kitchen: New kitchen and heated floors were installed in 2024, as well as a new shower. It is quite well equiped for cooking meals at home- all basics should (hopefully) be there. Dining aera: 4 dining chairs and a kitchen island. The fridge/freezer and washing mashine are new! Bathroom: Warm water and heated floor, quite ok. Livingroom: Sofa and 2 "resting" chairs. Plants, books, musicplayer, etc. and good reading light. The best about the apartment is the location! It couldn't be more convenient, the City Hall is a 7 min. stroll down to the sea and piers, the National Museum is just down the street and so is the Astrup Fearnley Museum. All types of public transport (bus, tram, metro, train, boats to the Oslo fjord) are found within 1-10 minutes walk. The apartment is situated in Frogner district- a safe and quiet part of Oslo, but all parts of Oslo are easy accessible from the apartment. This is a perfect place for families and friends who want to explore Oslo- all the major cultural and historical sights are within walking distance. My co-host Waldemar and I will be at your service during your stay- please don`t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!
About your hosts: Hello! We are Miriam and Waldemar. Miriam is a librarian and Waldemar is an artist. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible- we will be at your service during your stay.
As mentioned, the apartment could not be more central. All major sights are within walking distance. This neighbourhood is called Vika at Frogner District. I think the best of this aera is the closeness to the fjord. It is also suprisingly quiet for being so central. Please ask if you have any questions about the neighbourhood or Oslo.
