Overlooking Sandnesfjord, with an outdoor swimming pool and a private beach area, Sørlandet Feriesenter offers self-catering accommodations 12 mi from Risør. Boats can be rented on site. Sørlandet Feriesenter has studios and cottages with kitchenette cooking facilities. Each has a TV and views over the fjord. During the summer, the site has a restaurant with an à la carte menu, pizza and take-away. There is also a small grocery store. A children’s playground, beach volley and minigolf can be enjoyed on site. The swimming pools are open during summer, and pool admission can be purchased at the reception. Just 3.1 mi away in Sild, visitors will find the Giant’s Kettle glacial rock formations. The village of Lyngør's wooden seafront houses are 9.3 mi away.
