Stabburet på Balsnes inviterer til et hyggelig og unikt opphold. Her kan du ta med kjæresten, familien eller vennegjengen og oppleve idyll, sjøliv, gårdsliv og mye mye mer. Her kan du låne kano i ferskvann, få deilig sand mellom tærne på beachbanen, leie båt og sup i småbåthavna, fiske krabbe med teiner samt mye mer.
Jeg og min samboer tok over Balsnes gård for juli 2018. Jeg er delvis oppvokst her, men bodd store deler av mitt voksne liv i Trondheim. Jeg er 6.generasjon av gården og vi fikk en sønn ifjor og trives veldig godt på Hitra. Jeg jobber på gården, og mye for tiden består oppussing og vedlikehold. Etterhvert kommer det noen dyr også. Vi bor i våningshuset rett ved stabbure og stort sett lett tilgjengelige.
På Balsnes Gård kan du som gjest leie kano i ferskvann, sup og båt i sjøen samt Tillgang på en fantastisk sandvolleybllbane. Der kan du spille både sandvolleyball, beachtennis og andre strandaktiviteter. Når du leier båt i småbåthavna kan man også få tilgang til krabbeteiner. Hitra er kjent for sine mange store krabber, som er nydelig på brødskiva med en dæsj sitron oppå. Nærmeste butikk er 15 min unna med bil. Trenger du mer shopping er Fillan sentrum 25 min unna med bil.
