On the shores of Lake Mjøsa just 21 mi from Lillehammer and its Olympic Arena and 2.5 mi from the E6 road, Sveastranda Camping offers cottage and apartment accommodations with free WiFi. There is a supermarket open in the summer, when guests can also rent out boats, canoes and bicycles. Sveastranda Camping offers a wide range of cottages from small economy cottages with shared bathroom, to big and modern 3-bedroom cottages with private bathroom, TV and kitchen. The site has a waterfront and beach area, and guests are free to fish in the lake or river. There are many hiking trails in the area, while there is also Totenbadet Waterpark just 12 mi away. In the summer on Lake Mjøsa guests can enjoy the scenery by taking a trip on the Skibladner paddle steamer, in operation since the mid-1800s. The nearest supermarket is located in Moelv a 10-minute drive away, where there is also a train station providing connections with Gardermoen Airport and Oslo.
