The RED FJORDHOUSE has a unique location only a few meters from the shoreline with amazing views of Vassbruna mountain. The property has 230 m of private shoreline for fishing, barbecues and wading. Designer furniture, Boxspring beds mixed with the charm of a 1909 built wood house and total tranquility are the best base for a relaxing holiday.

My husband and I have acquired 5 properties over the world with outstanding views in great locations and like to share these with our guests.
Space, attention to detail and a wonderful sourrounding is as important to us as total privacy. We were lucky to find this particular gem because most properties have the road in between the sea and home.
This is a place to relax, unwind, watch Northern Lights, to fish from the private beach, read and listen to the waterfall across the fjord. The always changing view from the panorama window in the living room is better than any TV program. Needless to say that this is a photographer's and naturalist's dream.

The total silence at night is a wonderful experience. On the way to the property is about 18 km away a supermarket with long opening hours where everything from fresh ingredients to fire wood can be purchased. In Bardufoss is a liquor store and large supermarket about 30 min away. A car is definitely necessary in this location.
The area is famous for hiking, fishing and boating. Snow shoe trails, Nordic skiing and slopes nearby. One of the biggest attractions are the Northern lights best visible from November to March but also during other months. Absolutely no light pollution in this quaint area is the key to see them in their full glory.
