Our three unique holiday homes – The Pearl, The Hideaway, and The Forgotten – are embraced by Norway’s untouched nature and offer spectacular views over all of Otta. The Pearl: Modern and filled with light – ideal for those who love design and comfort. The Hideaway: A classic, cozy retreat in traditional Norwegian style. The Forgotten: An authentic farm with a large plot and unique "farm character." Each house tells its own story and provides the perfect retreat, whether you are traveling alone, seeking a getaway with friends, or exploring Norway’s breathtaking nature with your family. The Perfect Combination of Seclusion and Connectivity Our holiday homes are located on a 1.7 km long private one-way street, guaranteeing complete privacy. No traffic, no neighbors – just you and nature. If you are traveling with a larger group, the houses are situated 300 to 600 meters apart, but with no direct sightlines to one another. For solo travelers, we also offer single-room accommodation at our Heartbreak Hotel in Heidal, located about 25 minutes from the Heartbreak Escapes.

My spacious ground-floor terrace and large balcony on the upper floor invite you to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Relax with a breakfast on your private terrace while nature awakens around you. The surrounding hiking trails offer the perfect opportunity to explore the stunning landscape – ideal for nature lovers and explorers. In me, you’ll enjoy absolute privacy and security. I’m located on a quiet one-way street with no through traffic, allowing you to relax in total peace and seclusion. A 1.7 km long private road leads you to my retreat, far from neighbors and traffic. After a day of adventure, return to my warm, cozy interior. The stove provides a comforting heat that wraps around you as you prepare a delicious dinner in my modern kitchen. The Amazon Fire Stick on the TV provides entertainment options: Whether you want to unwind or enjoy a movie night, the selection is vast. Towels and bed linen, a baby crib, and a high chair are included in the price and will be provided upon arrival. And the best part: Children up to 12 years old stay for free! For an additional fee, you can book a weekly firewood flat rate, ensuring you always have enough wood available. Of course, firewood will be stocked upon your arrival. !!! For commercial stays (e.g., craftsmen/workers): Additional 1,500 NOK per week, payable on-site in cash, by card, or via bank transfer before arrival!!!

Adventure begins right outside your door: hiking through untouched landscapes, mountain biking on scenic trails, fishing in clear waters, or cross-country skiing in winter. The possibilities for outdoor activities are nearly endless.
