Gålå Booking is a publicly listed company offering rental cabins and apartments at Gålå, an exciting high altitude destination in the heart of Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. Gålå Booking was established in 2014 with the goal of becoming an independent and proactive provider of rental holiday homes at Gålå. Gålå Booking strongly believes in the cooperation between the different service providers, both locally and regionally, in order to provide our customers with the best experience possible. Our goal is to give our guests a great experience of Gålå. The apartment can accommodate 4+2 people. One of the bedrooms has a spacious wardrobe and there is a bathroom with a shower and its own washing machine. In the living room there is a wood-burning stove, a seating area and a pull-out day bed suitable for two people. There is a simple TV connected to Apple TV (we only have NRK, but it is possible to connect yourself to various streaming services). Free internet via Wifi. Outside the apartment there are two secluded patios facing southwest, reserved for our guests. By the outdoor area there is a trampoline and a sandbox that our two little boys use, and which they like to share with playmates who visit the basement. It is a short walk to the center of Gålå. Behind the house there is only 100 meters up to the transport trail for cross-country skiing that connects to the enormous trail network at Gålå. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Gålå stadium / Gålå shop. In the summer this is a cozy trail that eventually takes you out into great hiking terrain. The apartment is only a 15-minute walk from Gålåvatnet, with good opportunities for fishing, canoeing/kayaking and swimming. It is also possible to walk from Borgen and the Peer Gynt Cultural Festival back here. In winter, it is a 3-minute drive down to the alpine center, if you do not want to use the transport trail above the house and leave the car. Gålå is located in an open high mountain landscape around Gålåvatnet, where the view extends far over mountains and plateaus. Here, nature is easily accessible – whether you go skiing, on foot or by bike. In summer, the area is a natural starting point for mountain hikes, cycling, fishing and quiet days by the water. The mountain area surrounding Gålå takes you through forests, over open plateaus and up to viewpoints with wide views of Rondane if you want to explore nature. In winter, Gålå Turløyper prepares around 230 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails that take you into the surrounding mountain areas.
