The farm is located in the beautiful Reisa valley in Nordreisa municipality, about 18 kilometers from the center of Storslett. Today, the farm is owned and operated by Jan-Harald and Linda Tørfoss. The camping part is currently run by their eldest daughter, Tine-Mariell Tørfoss and her partner Marius Holst.The Tørfoss family is originally from Finland, and therefore it is a Kvængård Museum on the farm. (This is run by Nord-Troms Museum ) Jan-Harald is the 5th generation who runs the farm and took over from his parents Jan and Ella Tørfoss on January 1, 2003. The campsite was started by Jan-Harald's parents in 1991. They had two cabins set up in addition to the cabin that already stood by the river. The cabins have mainly been rented by salmon fishermen, but since the river is now closed for salmon fishing, YOU now have the opportunity to rent the cabins by the river. In 2008, a new service house and caravan/motorhome pitches were made. At the campsite you will find 3 cabins, a sauna and a covered barbecue area with tables and chairs located on the banks of the Reisa River. There is an outdoor toilet by the cabin and a simple cabin shower in the sauna. But you will find a service facility that consists of a women's and men's side with toilets, showers and a room with a sauna with shower. In the same building there is also a shared well-equipped kitchen and a room that is for rent. This is located close to the pitches for caravans and motorhomes. This is about 200 meters from the cabins. We have 6 pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. At each pitch you will find electricity and water post. Service houses with toilet, shower, sauna and kitchen are close by. We warmly welcome you to a cozy place for recreation, relaxation, campfires, etc. We can also offer a tour of the barn for those who want to see what a modern robot barn looks like. Tørfoss Gård.
