Entrance: Door to the left of main entrance - with the sign "kiropraktor". Keys are in a drawer to your left in the hallway! Torshov Farm at Ridabu is a peaceful, rural courtyard just a short distance from Hamar, surrounded by historic cultural landscapes and with a view toward Lake Mjøsa. City centre is 3,5 km away, bus stop is next to the property. The name Torshov suggests that the farm has roots dating back to pre-Christian times and that the site may have been used as a temple and sacrificial place for the god Thor during the Viking Age. Here, you can recharge your batteries in tranquil surroundings.
Welcome! Keys are in the small table to the left in the hallway. Please leave them there at check-out. Wishing you a pleasant stay. Vince
Bus stop across the street from the property (Vangsvegen). Rema 1000 grocery shop also 150 meters away. A beautiful church, Vang Kirke, is 700 meters away - architected by astronomer and priest Abraham Pihl - the same man who designed the clock on top of the old barn building on my farm.
