Tyssedal Hotel is by the Hardangerfjorden at the foot of the Hardangervidda Mountains, 6 km north of central Odda. It offers free WiFi, private parking and free sauna access. The guest rooms feature a TV and fjord or mountain views. The hotel is also home to a collection of original art paintings by Norwegian painters. Fishing, hiking and skiing are popular in the surrounding area. The Trolltunga hike starts in Skjeggeda which is 20 minutes' drive from Tyssedal Hotel. The Norwegian Museum of Hydro Power and Industry is 400 metres away.
