My name is Maria, and together with my husband, Nils-Jørgen, we have created Vengsøy Rorbuer. This has been a dream of mine for several years. We are very occupied with people enjoying the experiences they take part in. Whatever you do, whether you are mountain climbing, hiking or taking a walk by the shore; remember to enjoy your trip. We will focus on outdoor life, the environment and activities out in the nature.

The sea cabins are located on the island Vengsøy, a 30 minute drive from Tromsø International Airport over to Kvaløya and then Belvik, followed by ferry from Belvik to Vengsøy. Vengsøy Rorbuer consists of three modern seaside cabins located in a small, charming bay right by the ferry port on Vengsøy. Our vision is to create memorable arcict experiences in scenic surroundings near the sea and mountains. This is the place where you really get to lower your shoulders and find some inner peace. Our three cabins are delicately decorated in a maritime and rugged style. Here you will have everything you need for a magical stay with us. The cabins have six accomidations. One master bedroom with a double bed, with a possibility for two single beds. From this bedroom you get a view of the great mountain Stortinden.

We are surrounded by wild and beautiful nature. If you would like to go for a hike, the possibilities are endless and the view is guaranteed breathtaking. Go for a walk in these beautiful surroundings, experience the peace and quiet, make a bonfire and just enjoy the moment. The northern lights, unique and magic light that dances over the night sky in different colors. It is one of the most beautiful experiences you will ever have, and the key is to be patient and find a suitable spot with little to nothing light. At Vengøsy Rorbuer you will be able to see the Northern Lights from the lodges or by taking a little hike up the mountain during the night and total darkness. The midnight sun, The summer days that never ends. A red and yellow shimmer covers the landscape during night time. It is just like a beautiful painting living in the horizon. This is the time when the sun does not set. You can enjoy the this amazing sight right from the quayside of the sea cabins and it will give you a calming and warm feeling. If you want to obtain an experience you late will forget, take a hike in the mountians during the midnight sun.
