Mit einem Aufenthalt in unserem Gästehaus unterstützen Sie ROKPA, eine internationale, nichtstaatliche Organisation. ROKPA hilft mittellosen Menschen und konzentriert sich auf Lebenshilfe, medizinische Hilfe und Bildung. Einige dieser Projekte werden vor Ort durchgeführt, wie z.B. die Frauenwerkstatt und die berufsbegleitende Hotelfachschule. Im Jahre 2018 startete dieses Ausbildungsprogramm in Zusammenarbeit mit EHLsmile der Hotelfachschule Lausanne. Wir bieten armen jungen Menschen eine einjährige Ausbildung in unseren Räumlichkeiten an, um ihnen die Grundlage für eine Karriere im vielversprechenden Gastgewerbe zu geben, und um ihnen ein unabhängiges Leben zu ermöglichen. Die Ausbildung findet unter Aufsicht von qualifizierten Fachleuten statt. Das ROKPA Kinderhaus befindet sich neben dem Gästehaus. Hier finden Kinder aus armen Verhältnissen ein neues Zuhause. Unser Gästehaus liegt auf dem heiligen Boden von Boudhanath, nur 3 Gehminuten von der Stupa (dem Heiligtum der tibetischen Buddhisten) und nur 20 Gehminuten von Pashupatinath (dem heiligsten Tempel der Hindus) entfernt. Wir sind von wichtigen buddhistischen Tempeln umgeben, dem Kloster KaNying oder Weisses Kloster, und dem Kloster Shechen sowie vielen anderen mehr. Da unser Gästehaus in der Nähe von mehreren Hauptstrassen liegt, ist es einfach ins Kathmandu Valley zu gelangen. Es ist aber auch abgeschieden genug, um bei uns die Ruhe zu geniessen.
